Think 1.0-1.6, now think 1.7 with AV lol-1-shotting tanks. Even 1.0-1.6 tanks were much stronger than getting one shotted, they actually only got 2 shotted.

Knights use Lances on their Steeds.
Therefore, when I get back my Grey Mare and White Steed, I must have an appropriate weapon to mount on them.

GIVE ME MY AMARR LANCE Are you serious? Get over it man tanks don't melee unless there's an articulate arm on the tanks I don't know about. If any vehicle could melee it would be a LAV that deploys blades out of its side like in unreal tournament. CCP aren't bias against tanks 1.7 tanks were so op it wasn't funny and you had to be proto AV to stand a chance (just incase you try to mention anything about AV)

I didn't even realise!!!
CCP, this fellow has discovered that my post that was intended to be light-hearted and silly, though perhaps slightly cynical and sarcastic, was actually 100% true-blue serious!!!
This means I really DO want a melee weapon for my tank!
(Also I eat tanks all day with my DAU. Well, not since 1.8; I've been too busy with logi work to do AV  )
